King Trade Program: Discount Pricing Structure

 

1 INTRODUCTION TO KING TRADE PROGRAM

1.1 King Living may, in its discretion, offer membership in the King Trade Program to select individuals from time to time. The King Trade Program is exclusively available to Interior Designers, Specifiers, and Architects who manage the entire sales transaction process from start to finish.

1.2 The Discount Pricing Structure:
     (a) offers Trade Pricing on eligible King Living Product(s) to King Trade Members, subject to these Terms.
     (b) is available only in the following regions:

• Australia
• New Zealand
• United Kingdom
• United States
• Canada

Eligibility in other regions is subject to King Living’s sole discretion and may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

1.3 Trade Pricing is a discounted rate applied to the full retail price of King Living products. The discount percentage varies by product category and material and is based on the King Trade Member's current Tier Status within the King Trade Program at the time of the transaction.

 

2 TIER STATUS AND ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The King Trade Program Discount Pricing tiers are:
     (a) King Trade Access
     (b) King Trade Partner
     (c) King Trade Premier Partner

2.2 Tier Status is determined by the Minimum Annual Spend Threshold, calculated as the total invoiced value of all eligible Sales Orders for products delivered and fully paid within the immediate previous 12 month period. Minimum annual spend thresholds vary by region.

2.3 Minimum Annual Spend Thresholds according to region and tier status:

2.4 King Trade Access Tier has no minimum spend requirement. However, if a King Trade Member records no purchases for a continuous 12-month period, their membership may be deactivated at King Living’s discretion.

2.5 The Tier Status of a King Trade Member at the time the deposit is paid determines the discount applied to that Member’s transaction.

2.6 Tier Status upgrades (e.g., from Partner to Premier) apply only to future transactions and are not retrospective. The Tier Status of a King Trade Member at the time the deposit is paid determines the discount applied to that member’s transaction.

2.7 Tier Status will roll over into the subsequent calendar year, unless otherwise modified by King Living.

 

3 TRADE PRICING

3.1 Trade Price refers to the discounted price at which a King Trade Member can purchase a product. That discounted priced is some variable percentage off the full retail price of the product. The discounted price (Trade Price) is dependent upon:
     (a) the King Trade Member’s tier status (Access, Partner, or Premier) at the time of the transaction; and
     (b) the material and product category.

3.2 The Trade Price of a product may be changed at any time at the discretion of King Living. Prior to implementing a purchase transaction, a member should ensure they have up to date information about the Trade Price of a product and the Tier Status which will apply to their transaction. 4 TRADE PRICING EXCLUSIONS

4.1 Trade Pricing does not apply to: 
     (a) KingGuard fabric protection;
     (b) extended warranties;
     (c) Clearance Products,
     (d) spare parts,
     (e) recovery services,
     (f) technician charges, or
     (g) delivery & storage fees.

No KING Trade discounts are offered for these items.

4.2 Where a promotional offer applies to a product and the promotional price of that product is lower than the Trade Price, the Member is entitled to an additional percentage reduction off the promotional price of the product, based on their Tier Status:
     (a) King Trade Access Tier: Additional 5% off the promotional price;
     (b) King Trade Partner Tier: Additional 10% off the promotional price;
     (c) King Trade Premier Partner Tier: Additional 10% off the promotional price.

 

5 NON-BINDING TERMS; KING LIVING’S DISCRETION 

5.1 Membership of the King Trade Program is at the discretion of King Living. The Discount Pricing Structure is applied or not applied in all cases at the discretion of King Living and is not contractually binding.

5.2 King Living reserves the right to amend, suspend, revoke or terminate the King Trade Program or its King Trade Discount Pricing Structure at any time.

5.3 King Living will notify King Trade Members of changes to the King Trade Program and the King Trade Discount Pricing Structure.

5.4 All determinations regarding Tier Status and eligibility are made at King Living’s sole discretion and are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
