The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Team Leader to join our Information Technology team at our Turrella Design and Support Centre.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this leadership role is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability and continuous improvement of King Living’s core business applications across retail, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics and corporate functions.

You will play a critical role in maintaining system performance during peak trading periods, minimising operational disruption, and driving long-term improvements in service delivery and efficiency to support sustainable business growth.

The Role

• Lead, mentor and develop the Application Support team, fostering accountability and service excellence.
• Own the stability, availability and performance of business-critical systems across retail, supply chain and corporate functions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for major incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal business disruption.
• Drive continuous improvement through structured problem management and root cause analysis.
• Build strong partnerships with Retail, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and various internal stakeholders.
• Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring SLA performance, governance compliance and operational reporting standards are met.

About You

• Demonstrated people leadership experience within IT application support or IT operations environments.
• Experience with application support for Salesforce and SAP is highly regarded.
• Strong ability to build, mentor and performance manage teams.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end retail operations including showrooms, supply chain and fulfilment.
• Proven experience managing major incidents in high-pressure retail trading environments.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
• Commercially aware with a strong customer-first mindset.
• Calm, decisive and outcome-focused in fast-paced environments.
