The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and organised Assistant Showroom Manager to support the leadership of our beautiful Balgowlah showroom.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role within one of our premium retail environments. Partnering closely with the Showroom Manager, you will drive sales performance, elevate the customer experience, and ensure the seamless daily operation of the showroom. You will lead from the front, mentor your team, and contribute to building a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture aligned with King Living values.


This is a full-time position within a 7-day retail operation. Weekend availability is required.

The Role
  • Support the daily operation of the showroom in line with King Living standards, policies and WHS requirements.
  • Lead the team from the front to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct daily team briefings in the absence of the Showroom Manager, providing updates on promotions, pricing and product launches.
  • Deliver an exceptional, consultative customer experience at every touchpoint.
  • Coach and develop team members through ongoing product and sales training.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to support smooth stock replenishment and inventory processes.
  • Maintain showroom presentation to the highest standard in line with Visual Merchandising guidelines.
  • Build strong customer relationships and manage enquiries or complaints professionally.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral and point of sale materials are aligned with brand standards.
  • Stay informed on competitor activity and market trends to support sales growth.
About You
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within retail, ideally in a premium or luxury environment.
  • Passionate about sales, design and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring style with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to support showroom performance and targets.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and operational discipline.
  • Confident communicator with professional presentation skills.
  • Comfortable using retail systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Adaptable, resilient and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
