The Opportunity

Our Nunawading Showroom is seeking personable, dynamic and customer-focused Design Consultants to deliver exceptional in-store experiences and personalised design solutions.

In this role, you’ll combine your passion for design with strong product knowledge to help customers create furniture solutions tailored to their home, lifestyle and family. You’ll be supported by a highly experienced team, ongoing training, and a commission structure designed to reward performance.

This is a casual opportunity requiring availability to work over weekends, Mondays and public holidays.

The Role
  • Deliver a premium, consultative customer experience in-store and over the phone.
  • Build strong relationships and guide customers through considered purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain showroom presentation in line with visual merchandising standards.
  • Follow up quotes, enquiries and orders to convert sales opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and campaign results.
  • Process sales orders accurately using King Living systems.
  • Maintain samples, product cards, brochures and showroom materials.
About You
  • Background in retail sales, hospitality, colour consulting or customer-facing roles.
  • Passion for design with a strong eye for detail and presentation.
  • Experience in textiles, furniture or interior design is advantageous but not essential.
  • Confident communicator with a professional, warm approach to customers.
  • Results-driven with a willingness to learn and develop product expertise.
  • Comfortable using systems and completing accurate data entry.
  • Flexible, collaborative and motivated to contribute to team success.
  • Fluent Mandarin language capability is highly desirable.
