About this Role The experience a King Living customer has between placing an order and receiving their furniture is shaped — more than most people realise — by the technology running behind it. As our Customer Delivery Technology Application Manager, you'll own that technology end to end.
From final mile execution tools and freight management systems through to AI-powered customer communications and real-time delivery tracking, you'll be the digital backbone of our Customer Delivery Excellence programme — ensuring every platform, integration, and data flow works seamlessly to carry the King Living difference through to the customer's door, across all global markets.

What You'll Be Doing - Own and optimise the Customer Delivery technology stack — including final mile execution tools, freight and transport systems, contractor and query management platforms, and all associated integrations
- Design and implement automated, predictive customer communication workflows across the full delivery journey — from Point of Sale through to Proof of Delivery — leveraging AI and automation to improve timeliness, personalisation, and consistency
- Build and maintain self-service delivery performance dashboards, scorecards, and exception-based alerting to proactively surface at-risk deliveries, SLA breaches, and performance anomalies
- Lead the integration of delivery systems with King Living's broader platforms — ERP, CRM, and eCommerce — to enable end-to-end data flow and real-time operational visibility
- Define and maintain the data architecture for Customer Delivery in conjunction with IT, ensuring clean, reliable, and well-governed data across all markets
- Lead the technical delivery of key Customer Delivery Excellence programme workstreams, working with Global and Executive Leadership to prioritise the technology roadmap
- Evaluate, pilot, and recommend new technology solutions — including AI agent capabilities — to enhance delivery performance, reduce costs, and improve customer experience
- Act as the primary business owner for Customer Delivery technology, liaising with IT and external vendors on roadmaps, upgrades, and issue resolution
What You Bring - 10+ years' experience in senior customer delivery operations roles, with at least 5 years in technology product ownership, systems management, or digital operations
- Hands-on experience with logistics application administration, configuration, and implementation
- Strong BI and reporting skills — proficient in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of system integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture principles
- Experience with AI and automation tools for customer communications or operational workflows highly desirable
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage vendor relationships effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a technology-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills — confident bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in logistics, delivery, or supply chain technology highly regarded
