Counter stools are slightly lower, with a standard seat height of 65 to 70 cm (26 to 28 inches), making them ideal for kitchen islands and counters around 90 cm (36 inches) high. Bar stools, with a taller seat height of 75 to 85 cm (30 to 34 inches), are suited for bar-height surfaces around 105 to 110 cm (41 to 43 inches) tall. Choosing the right stool height helps create a balanced visual line while ensuring comfort and ease of use. To ensure the perfect fit, we recommend measuring your benchtop height before selecting your stool.
